Shirley Ann Labor, 61 of Kiowa, died Sunday, April 6, 2008, at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Kiowa with Dr. Jim Roebuck officiating. Burial will be at Kiowa Cemetery under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.Born Aug. 29, 1946, in McAlester, she was the daughter of J.W. and Ellen Jane Weisenburger. She married Leon Labor on May 25, 1973, in Pittsburg.Survivors include her husband, Leon Labor; sons, John William "Hanse" Woolsey, of Kiowa, Jerry Wayne Woolsey, of McAlester, Gary Gene "Duke" Zachary and wife, Jonna, of Kiowa, and Wade Leon Labor and wife, Tammy of Pittsburg.Also, grandchildren, Jennifer Eastteam, Ryan Woolsey and Randi Maxwell, Lindsey Robertson, Jordy Woolsey, Callie Woolsey, Hunter Woolsey, Zane Zachary, Johnathan Rudrow, Madison Labor, Hayden Labor and Heather Stevens; great-grandchildren, Shasta Nicole and Aiden Ray.And, sisters, Ruth Ellen Weisenburger and Jo Tucker; special nieces, Doris Whorton, Tracey Zachary and Angie Ratliff; stepmother, Diane Rhodes; special friends, Becky McMath, of Kiowa, and Gary Zachary, of Alderson.And, father-in-law and mother-in-law, L.H. "Peachee" Labor and Youil Dean "Skeet" Labor, of Pittsburg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Linda Labor, Roy and Nancy Labor, George and Kim Labor, Joetta and Tim McIntire, and nieces and nephews, Russell Labor, Susan Labor, Robin Labor, Sherry Palmer, Wendy Griffin, Becky Burns, Justin Labor, Keitha Parker, B.J. Rowland and Garrett Rowland. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sons, Christopher Lynn Zachary and Kenneth Labor.Pallbearers will be Jim Christman, Denty Christman, Larry Christman, Johnny Labor, Larry Waldron and George Labor.Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, and Rusty Christman and Russell Shields.
