Billy Wayne Ragan, 68, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at his home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Indianola Cemetery Pavilion with Rodger Miller officiating. Burial will follow. Active pallbearers will be Joshua Ragan, Greg Davis, Daton Cassleman, Ron Cassleman, Roper Selby and Randy Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be John Parker, Keaton Impson, Aiden Parker, Trey Parker and Kale Parker. Billy was born on February 4, 1956 in McAlester to Arthur Frank Ragan and Nettie Nadine (Thomas) Ragan. He married Judy Welch in 1992 in Wilburton, Oklahoma. He drove a truck for a number of businesses over the years and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Survivors include his wife, Judy Ragan of Hitchita; children, Yolanda Rodgers of Hitchita, Jamie Ragan of Muskogee, OK, Joshua Ragan and wife, Stormy Beckwith of Hitchita, Jasmine Putman of Hitchita, OK, and Stormi Dragoo of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren, Taylor Ragan, Derek Dragoo, Christian Ragan, Alexis Ragan and Daisy Beckwith; great-grandchildren, Remi Dragoo, Gracelynn Farris, Tommy Amick, James Ragan, Autumn Ragan, Eastyn Gustason, Lennox Gustason and Waylon Gustason; brother, Johnny Fred Ragan of Indianola, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanine Ann Davis and husband, Randy Davis of McAlester, OK. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Frank Ragan; son, Billy James Ragan; first wife, Veronica Ervin; grandpa, Henry Thomas; aunt, Shirley Thomas; father-in-law, James Winter; and sister-in-law, Joanie Ragan.
