Connie Raye (Armstrong) Masters, 79 of Eufaula died Saturday, July 27, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. The family will greet friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Steve Eldridge. Burial will follow at Indianola Cemetery, Indianola.Pallbearers will be, Jarrod Eldridge, Kevin Masters, Kub McGee, William Armstrong, Charlie Rogers, and Tre’Darius Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Marquis "Bubba" Marshall, Caisyn Masters and all of her nephews. Connie was born to Lawrence Ray "Larry" and Marjorie M. (Bunnis) Armstrong on October 7, 1944 in Lodi, California. She graduated from Canadian High School in 1962. Connie married William "Will" Masters on July 30, 1962 and they were married for 35 years until he preceded her in death in 1997. She worked in sewing factories and then for TEAM Petroleum as store manager at their full-service gas station in McAlester. After retiring in 2000; Connie attended Eastern Oklahoma State College and graduated on the Presidents Honor Roll with an Associate degree. She was a member of the Oklahoma Archaeological Society. Connie enjoyed quilting and was an avid reader. She is survived by her daughter, Freda McKeag and John; sons, William "Bud" Masters and Wanda, Jimmy Masters and Patty; daughter, Karen Okerstrom and Gordon; grandchildren, Jarrod Eldridge and Misty, Clint Okerstrom, Miranda Masters and Jonathon, Heather McGee and Kub, Kevin Masters and Katie, Kara Masters and Tre'Darius, Tim Okerstrom, Josh Okerstrom and Kaylyn, Rachel McKeag, Michaelle McKeag, Hanna Sheppard and Tommy; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kane, Augusta and Ian, Yonariya "Nari", Jaydan, Kayle, Marquis "Bubba", Danika, Theo, Lunaria, Uziah, Caisyn, Raileigh, Tre’Darius "T2", Krymson, Serenitee, Xzavier, Macsymus, Infinity, Bentley; great-great grandchild, Grayson; brothers, Donald Armstrong and Marsha, Robert Armstrong and Rebecca; sisters-in-law, Earlene Eldridge, Ruth Rogers; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Masters and Pam, Jack Masters; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Larry Armstrong and Marjorie Armstrong; her husband, Will Masters; grandchildren, Crystal, Jimmi and Cynthia; great grandchild, Emilia Opal; great-great grandchild, Aubree Eldridge-Chandler; sisters, Lenora Sue Bates, Ethel "Dee" Williams; brothers, Marvin Leory "Beau" Armstrong and Stephen "Bill" Armstrong.
