Gilda Gloria (Carcone) Olandese, 93 of Krebs died Thursday November 17, 2021 in McAlester. A private burial was held at Hugh Low Cemetery, Scipio, Oklahoma. Gilda was born to Stefano and Sabina (D'Allasandro) Carcone on November 13, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. Gilda grew up in Detroit where she graduated high school. She married Frank Olandese April 30, 1947 in Detroit. They moved to Krebs in 1976. She worked at Komar and then as a custodian for Carl Albert Mental Health Center for several years until retirement. She enjoyed going to casinos and bingo. Gilda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Olandese on December 12, 2018; and a sister, Lillian Carcone. She is survived by son, Kenneth Olandese and wife, Martha; daughters, Cathy Cuevas and husband, Sergio, Gina Lott and husband, Virgil; grandchildren, Angela Olandese, Michael Olandese, Megan Legg, Audrey Lott, David Lott; great grandchildren, Courtney Jefferson and husband, Colton, Gehrig Legg; sister, Lydia Watt; sister-in-law, Rose Olandese and other family members and friends.
