Gina Marie (Olandese) Lott was born on January 28, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on January 18, 2025 at her home in Krebs, OK.
Gina grew up in Detroit, Michigan where she enjoyed sledding, ice skating and watching Tigers baseball. She moved with her parents to McAlester, Oklahoma in 1976 where she graduated from high school the following year. After earning an Associate’s Degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College, she worked for Allford Propane where she met her husband, Virgil Lott. After they married in November of 1981, they lived briefly in Roswell, New Mexico before returning to Oklahoma where they raised their two children.
Gina devoted her life to raising her family and helping her community. She loved animals and cared for many rescued dogs, cats, raccoons, and a few orphaned calves.
Gina was a much-loved wife, mother, sister, and aunt.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil; daughter Audrey Lott of McAlester; son, David Lott and wife, Danyel of Scipio; sister, Cathy Cuevas and husband, Sergio of Krebs; brother, Ken Olandese and wife, Martha of Canton, Michigan, as well as many, many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Gilda Olandese.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Hugh Low Cemetery in Scipio, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Chip Lott. Burial will follow.
Pallbearers will be, Robert Lott, Roy Dean Lott, Michael Wayne Lott, Larry Cox and Raymond Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Lott, Sergio Cuevos and Russell Johnson.
