Jason Lee Coffee, 51, of McAlester, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at McAlester Reginal Health Center. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted with Brumley-Mills Funeral Home. A visitation time is scheduled for Monday, December 30, at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home until 7:00 p.m. Graveside funeral services are set for Tuesday, December 31, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hugh Low Cemetery near Scipio.
Jason Lee Coffee was born on February 25, 1973 in McAlester to Keith Lee Coffee and Charla Kay (Clifton) Coffee. He grew up here and graduated from McAlester High School with the class of 1991. Jason spent years working alongside his dad, operating Coffee Trucking, and later, Keith Coffee Wrecker Service. Jason owned and operated Quality Automotive and Transmission, before selling the business to retire in 2024.
Jason is survived by his wife, Jackie; his children, Taylor Otis and husband Jeremy, and Tanner Coffee and wife Lauren, all of McAlester, and Carter Coffee of the home. His grandchildren include Charlotte Otis and Jace Coffee. He is also survived by his parents, Keith and Kay Coffee; sister, Jennifer Heinicke; and half brother and sister, Ian O’Daniel and Jenna Barnes; and many other family members and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Mildred Clifton and D. W. and Doris Coffee; and great grandparents, Wilson and Lecta Clifton, and Buster and Lorene Stacy.
