Kelly Wade Ayers. 59, of Krebs, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 31, at the Jack C. Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Muskogee. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov.5, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hugh Low Cemetery near Scipio. Pallbearers will be Dustin Ayers, Chris Ayers, Derrick Ayers, Ronald Williams, Peyton Campana, and Tony Boling,
Kelly Wade Ayers was born on Feb. 4, 1962 in Ridgecrest, Calif. to Wade Talmage Ayers and Erma Louise (Ray) Ayers. He lived in California to the age of 11 when he came to the Crowder area. For the next several years he was in Crowder and California, eventually graduating from Crowder High School. He then moved to Sapulpa and soon decided to join the National Guard. He served as an active-duty member of the military police 445th Division of the Oklahoma National Guard for 10 years until his retirement. After that, he went to work, and was currently working, as a blocker/bracer at the Army Ammunition Plant. He and Doris Stewart were married on Dec. 31, 1999. In his spare time, Kelly enjoyed camping out and fishing.
Kelly is survived by his wife, Doris Ayers; his children, Dustin Ayers and wife Rachel, Chris Ayers and wife Allye, Derrick Ayers and wife Heather, Jessica Soblaskey and husband Marty, April Miller, Stephanie Williams, Ronald Williams, and Peyton Campana; 19 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Roger Ayers and wife Sophia Archard, and Tony Boling and wife Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents.
