Frances Charlene (Wilcox) Pate, 73, of Hartshorne, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at her home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hartshorne. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Leonardo Medina officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hartshorne. Active pallbearers will be Jesse Edge, Don McCaslin, Anthony Ranallo, Randy Wilcox, Marty Wilcox, Jason McCaslin, Aaron McCaslin, Lee Wilcox, and Justin Wilcox. Honorary pallbearers will be Dusty Pate, Blake Menefee, Steve Darby, John Simmons, Jerrid Wilcox, and Shay Wilcox. Charlene was born on May 26, 1952 in McAlester to Jesse Gilbert and Frances Lorraine (Ranallo) Wilcox. She lived most of her life in Hartshorne with the exception of some glory years spent in Austin, Texas, of which she loved dearly. She was an active member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hartshorne throughout her life, serving the community with love, dedication, and unwavering faith. She was very artistically talented, always putting her creativity to work. What she loved most in life was giving and doing for others; especially her three children, of whom adored her. Survivors include her children, Jesse Dain Edge of Kiowa, OK, Dusty Gene Pate of Hartshorne, OK, and Shayla Ann Menefee of Edmond, OK; three grandchildren, Kylee and Karmen Edge, and Asher William Menefee; brothers, Marty Wilcox of Gowen, OK, and Randy Wilcox of Hartshorne, OK; and a sister, Linda Sweetin of Hartshorne, OK. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Lorraine (Ranallo) Wilcox; father, Jesse Gilbert Wilcox and a brother, Joseph David Wilcox.
