Marion Carole Howard, age 73, died Friday, March 10, 2017 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Mass service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Harsthorne. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in Hartshorne. Carole Howard was born July 11, 1943 in Hartshorne to Michael Konsure and Lily Konsure. Carole attended school in Hartshorne and after graduation, Carole accepted a position with the FBI in the Crime Records Division in Washington. Congressman Carl Albert, who later became Speaker of the House, offered Carole a position in his Capitol Hill office in Washington, D.C. Carole was married to Glenn Howard, who she met while employed with the FBI. They had one son, Jason and she accepted and raised two step-sons, Jeffrey and Kevin, who she raised as her own. After resigning her position with Speaker Albert, tennis became a major passion in her life and she excelled on the tennis court. She became a seasoned traveler, having lived in several states, as well as, London, England, Dubai, UAE and Copenhagen, Denmark and traveled to more that 20 others countries throughout the world. Carole is survived by all three sons, her mother, Lily, brother Michael, Jr. and sister Linda. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael and sister, Marianne. Pallbearers will be Glenn Howard, Jason Howard, Jeff Howard, Michael Konsure, Jr., Brent Boatright and Kyle Howard.
