Betty L. Curliss, 93, of Hartshorne, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 at her home. Betty was born on November 14, 1932 in Cambria, Oklahoma to Chester and Lucille Elizabeth (Tassart) Peruskie. She married Benny Curliss in 1950 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed painting and sewing. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Curliss Patton; three sons, David Wayne and Annisa Curliss, Michael Kent Curliss, and Marc Edward and Merly Curliss; five grandchildren, Jacob Benjamin Patton, Matthew Ethan Patton, Chloe Curliss, Christopher Curliss, and Matthew Curliss; one great-grandchild, Avery Jade Patton; and one brother, William Raymond Dalpoas and his wife, Beth; and a sister-in-law, Gloria Marzuola; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and high school sweetheart, Benny A. Curliss in 1975, as well as 6 of his 7 siblings and their spouses; and her parents, Lucille Elizabeth Dalpoas and William Key Dalpoas. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, officiated by Father Leo Ahanotu.
