Deanna Jo Cooter, 82, of Hartshorne, died January 16, 2022 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. She was born on April 6, 1939 to Joseph "Sappy" and Mary "Tootsie" (Wansick) Lardi. She married Frank Eugene Cooter of Hartshorne, Oklahoma on June 22, 1958 and was blessed with a loving marriage of 43 years before he passed on December 22, 2001. Deanna was a graduate of Hartshorne High School. She was a faithful member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hartshorne and an advocate of daily prayer. She loved all of God;s creatures, her family, pets, all friends and strangers. Deanna was always willing to help others in any way possible and enjoyed prayer, reading, babysitting, visiting her friends and family, and she was very proud of her family. She always saw the best in others and made the best of every situation. Above all, she believed love and prayer conquered everything. She is survived by her sister Patti Sherman of Tulsa, OK; two sons and their spouses, Frankie and Debbie Cooter of Edmond, OK, and Tim and Penni Cooter of Norman, OK; four grandchildren and their spouses, Chase and Grisel Cooter of San Antonio, TX, Tyler and Montana Dollins of McAlester, OK, Mark and Caylee Johnson of Enid, OK, and Lance Cooter of Edmond, OK; great-grandchild, Grayson Dollins; nieces and nephews, LaDana DeTello of McAlester, OK, Todd Parker of Hartshorne, OK, and Terry Kesler of Bache, OK. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Suzette Pitchford of Hartshorne. Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hartshorne with Father Leonardo Medina officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Viewing will be Thursday, January 27th from 9 to 5 p.m. and Friday, January 28th from 1 to 8 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne. Pallbearers will be George Dollins, Scott Evans, Todd Parker, Chase Cooter, Tyler Dollins and Lance Cooter.
