Monroe "Bubba" Edward Granger, 81, of Alderson, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16th at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bart Effinger officiating. Burial will follow at Featherston Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Finch, Bo Crawford, Corey Granger, Cole Granger, Bradly Holt and Zack Baker. Bubba was born on March 25, 1942 in Mesquite, Texas to Monroe Samuel and Sara Frances (Force) Granger. He worked for National Oilwell and married Mikki Lynn Keeton on November 4, 1972 in Mesquite, Texas. He was a devoted husband, loving dad and grandpa. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Kristin Granger; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Billy Finch, Monica and Bo Crawford; grandchildren, Preston Ogden, Chelsey Holt, Madison Ogden, Cole Granger, Chloe Granger, Claire Granger, Erica Parker and JT Crawford; great-grandchildren, Hadlee Holt, Caylee Ogden, Hudson Holt, Bracyn Wilson and Brodee Crawford; a sister and brother-in-law, Earlene and Dane Bethea; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mikki Lynn Granger in 2017; his parents; son-in-law, Paul Ogden; brother, Ted Granger; three grandchildren, Colby Finch, Mackennon Ogden and Broderick Crawford.
