Shirley Ann Motley, 72, of Crowder, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 1 at Crowder Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Crook officiating. Inurnment will be at Crowder Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Shirley was born on March 30, 1943 in Missouri to Clarence & Gussie Brown Coonce. She married John Henry Motley on February 16, 1958 in Fresno, California. They lived in Fresno, California for several years before moving to Crowder where her husband worked for Pittsburg County. Shirley was a member of the Crowder Free Will Baptist Church and she loved to fish with her husband. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law: Kenneth & Apryl Motley of Crowder; daughter: Doreen Pombo of Crowder; brother & sister-in-law: Paul & Sue Coonce of Merced, California; sister: Mae Melton of Fresno, California; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: John Motley on June 22, 2010; and a son: Joe Motley. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Motley, Kenneth Motley, Francis Dean Motley, Dale Motley, Jim Ramsey, and Wayne Ramsey.
