Margie Fremen, 75, of Crowder, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 in McAlester.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Bishop Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Rev. Jim Davidson and Rev. Kenneth Morrow officiating. Interment will be at Crowder Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service.
Margie was born April 16, 1939 in Red Oak to John Houston & Ellen Elizabeth Armstrong Honea. She attended schools in Arvin, California and graduated from Arvin High School. She married Tommie Fremen on November 25, 1961 in Canadian.
She was a member of The Full Gospel Church in Canadian, Oklahoma. She enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, and decorating the house and the yard. She was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband: Tommie Fremen of the home; daughters: Rhonda June Young of Crowder, Mona Kathleen & Glenn Enloe of Blanco; sisters: Brenda Honea of McAlester, Delbra & Donnie Proe of Crowder; grandchildren & spouse: Sarah & Ronnie Fennewald, Ethan Young, Emily Young; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Bill Shaffer.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
