Deceased Name: Jerry Bryan Brown
Jerry Bryan Brown , 36, of Shawnee, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, in Shawnee.
Bryan was born July 30, 1975, in Ada, the son of Jerry Donald and LaVada Lorene Rogers Brown . He attended Shawnee High School, where he participated in band and wrestling. Bryan later earned an Aviation degree at Gordon Cooper Technology Center in Shawnee. He worked for a number of years as an aircraft mechanic for Down Town Airpark, Tinker Air Force Base and the Oklahoma Jet Works in Shawnee.
Bryan enjoyed fishing, collecting fossils, sports cars, airplanes and motorcycles.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, LaVada and Dr. Mike Adams of Canadian; father, Jerry Brown of Meeker; sister and brother-in-law, Mistee and Curtis Smith of Cleveland, Tenn.; nephew, Taylor Brown of Cleveland; nieces, Merissa Smith and Sierra Smith of Cleveland; aunts, Hazel and James Lott of McAlester and Pat and Jess Sepeda of McAlester; uncles, Troy and Laverne Rogers of Holdenville and Ronnie and Linda Brown of Yanish; special friend, Tonya Evy and her daughter, Jordan, of McAlester; and numerous cousins.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28, at Bishop Chapel of Memories. Burial will be at Crowder Cemetery. Rev. Chip Lott will officiate.
