Clifford Dale Beasley, 77 of Krebs peacefully passed from this life on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
The family will greet friends and relatives from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday January 9, 2022 at Bishop Funeral Service.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Kenny Morrow.
Burial will follow at Chambers Community Cemetery, Chambers Community.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Sexton, Chance Stephens, Weston Sexton, Eddie Beasley, Whit Davis Jr. and James Labor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Johnston, Mike Sexton, Donald Beasley
Clifford Dale Beasley was born to Gabriel Dillard "G.W." and Mildred Lorene (DeWeese) Beasley on October 28, 1944 in McAlester, Oklahoma.
Clifford served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton and OSU Okmulgee Tech with a degree in drafting and design.
He married Nora Lee Tolbert on November 22, 1967 in McAlester.
Together they owned and operated Beasley's Answering Service in Krebs for 25 years until 2005.
He retired from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority after working for over 30 years in maintenance.
Clifford served on the Chamber's Community Cemetery board as the Chairman and caretaker for several years.
He enjoyed bowling, fishing, wood working, attending craft shows, and spending time with family.
Later in life Clifford also enjoyed spending time with his special friend and partner Josephine Self. They enjoyed dancing the night away at the VFW, playing bingo, fishing, word searches, puzzles, Yatzee, trying their luck at the casino and spending time with their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel Dillard "G.W." and Mildred (DeWeese) Beasley; wife of 43 years, Nora Lee (Tolbert) Beasley; mother-in-law, Agnes Tolbert, brother, Johnny Ray Beasley; sisters, Patsy Bohnsack and Helen Deputy; granddaughter-in-law, Karon Sexton great granddaughter, Mackenzie Stephens; special friend Josephine Self.
Clifford is survived by his daughters, Deanna Sexton and husband, Mike of Kiowa, Serena Johnston and husband, Mark of Kiowa; grandchildren, Clifford W. Sexton of Kiowa, Marci Stephens and husband, Chance of Kiowa, Megan Hiser of Kiowa, Audrey Johnston of Kiowa, Shandi Harrison and husband, Sam of Nebraska, Leighanne Johnston of Kiowa, Taylor Nowlin and husband Clint of Lane; great grandchildren; Weston, Isabelle, Braxton, Hayden, Bentlee, Bristol, Jaxson, Kyler, Willow, Kaiden, Destini; brother, Donald Beasley and wife, Pat of Noble, Oklahoma; sister, Louise Hoffman and husband, Dwayne of McAlester; sister-in-law, Virgina Whinery of McAlester; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
