Michael Douglas was born November 3, 1952 in Clayton, Oklahoma to James Ross & Virginia Evelyn Ward Spear. He graduated from Pittsburg High School. Michael moved to Sherman, Texas, where he worked for over 25 years in maintenance. He later moved to Ardmore and worked for Akin's concrete construction. Michael enjoyed fishing. He is Survived by his Son & Daughter-in-law, Mike Spear & wife, Sheryle of Pittsburg, Oklahoma; Brothers & Sisters, Harold Akins & wife, Helen of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Carol Rice & husband, Jimmy of Pittsburg, Oklahoma; Joyce Church & husband, Cecil of Kiowa, Oklahoma, Ron Spear of Ben Franklin, Texas, Nancy Hailey & husband, Mike of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Stan Moore of Pittsburg, Oklahoma; Step-Father, Jerry Moore of Pittsburg, Oklahoma; Numerous Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ross Spear, mother, Virginia Evelyn Ward, and a brother, Wayne Akins. Viewing will be Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Graveside servies will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at Pittsburg Cemetery.
