Tommy Gene Parker was born September 5th, 1950 at Kiowa, OK and died January 14th, 2002 at McAlester, OK. Services are at the Pittsburg First Baptist Church 10:00 a.m. Friday January 18th, 2002. Pallbearers are Mark Silverthorn, Robert Apala, Larry Watson, Viril Hearod, Jimmy Johnston, Frank Humphrey and Timothy Moody. Clergy officiating is Rev. Jim Davidson. Final resting place is Pittsburg Cemetery, Pittsburg, OK. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Parker of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Amanda Parker of Pittsburg, OK; daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Jackie Stiles of Kiowa, OK; grandchildren, Chelsea Ann Parker, Dakota Gene Parker and Shawna May Stiles; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy Ray and Glenda Parker, Gene and Phyllis Wilson, Eddie and Patricia Parker, Larry Parker and David and Jessie Parker; sisters, Patsy McCormick and Markeeta Sevall; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws; special cousins, JoAnn and Jesse Humphreys. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline Parker, Dillian and Mark Thompson, Jr.; infant sisters, Pauline and Dollie Parker; grandparents, Jim and Johnnie Wester and Mark, Sr. and Dollie Thompson.
