Angela Sue Broome, 57, of McAlester, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025 in Tulsa. The family will welcome friends for visitation at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester. Burial will follow at the Broome Family Cemetery. Angela Sue Broome was born on February 18, 1968 in Charleston, South Carolina. Her family moved around a lot for work, and she has lived in the McAlester area since 2001. She had attended nurse’s school and earned her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She married Heath Broome on March 20, 2015. Angela worked at the Van Buren House, McAlester Regional Health Center, and other nursing homes in the area, as well as working as a traveling nurse for several years. In her spare-time, she loved to do karaoke, and often knew the songs by heart. Angela is survived by her husband, Heath Broome; children, Cody Broome, Kolten Peloquin, Austin Peloquin and Mercedes, and Jeremy Harrison and Carlie; siblings, Stephanie Sparks and Adam, Therasa Lawrence and fiance' Derick Smith, Tim Cannady, and Steven Lawrence; her parents-in-law, James anhd Mary Broome; and a sister-in-law, Carla Ellis and husband David. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don Lawrence and Gloria (Cannady) Lawrence; and a son, Brandon Broome.
