Diana “Joan” Blevins, 69, of Blue, died Monday, July 19, 2021 in Plano, Texas. Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Bishop Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Rev. Paul Snow. Burial will follow in Blue Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blake Wilson, Rocky Wilson, Ethan Bohn, Eli Bohn, Colter Steele, Gage Steele, and Jay Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Kendall Steele, Rob Bohn, Jayden Snow, Joshua Shropshire, and Mike Blevins. Diana Joan was born to Harold Dean "Bud" and Clara Lorene "Dutch" (Gibson) Blevins on November 1, 1951 in McAlester. Joan loved celebrating her birthday and always looked forward to the annual family reunion. She also loved her church and church family at Blue Holiness Church. She enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Frank and Grace Blevins, maternal grandparents: Adam and Winnie Gibson, parents: Harold "Bud" and Clara "Dutch" Blevins, and nephews: Nathan Dean Steele and Randall Dean Wilson. Joan is survived by her sisters: Regina Steele and husband, Richard of Tannehill, Deana Wilson and husband, Roger of Blue; nieces: DeLana Bohn and husband, Rob, Tonya Wilson, Hillary Tripp; nephews: Kendall Steele and wife, Peggy, Jacob "Jay" Wilson, Blake Wilson; great-niece: Joey Lynn Steele; great-nephews: Rocky Dean Wilson, Ethan Bohn, Eli Bohn, Colter Lee Steele, Gage Steele; aunts: Ann Smith of McAlester, Callie Choate of Watsonville, California, Earline Snow of McAlester; and other family members and friends.
