Susie Delilah King, age 81, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away October 28, 2015. She was born February 17, 1934, in Stuart, Oklahoma, to Hudy and Myrtle (Cross) DeWees. Susie loved doing bead work and planting and raising roses. She loved reading the Bible and singing. Susie loved the Lord and when she was able, she enjoyed going to church at the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Her first love was spending time with her family and playing with the grandbabies. Susie is survived by 10 children, James Taylor & wife, Shirley, of Muskogee, OK, Mary Muse & husband, Roger, of Rosemont, CA, Paula Goodwin husband, Frank, of Cleo Springs, OK, Penny Kline & husband, Pete, of Kenisaw, GA, Karron Williams, of Moore, OK, Darlene Thompson & husband, Roy, of Oklahoma City, Kathy Hibdon & husband, Mike, of Oklahoma City, Sherry Wilkison & husband, Harry, of Rush Springs, MO, Gary Nell & wife, Cindy, of Oklahoma City, and Sharon Smith & husband, Jimmy,of McAlester; 32 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter and one-on-the-way; 1 sister, Dorothy Heathcock, of McAlester; 1 brother, Van DeWees, of Cincinnati, OH; and several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hudy and Myrtle DeWees; her husband, James Nail; son, Timothy (Sonny) Nail; grandson, Jimmy Joe Roberts; and 11 brothers and sisters. Funeral Services for Susie will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 2, 2015, at First Assembly of God Church, 1800 Hardy Spring Rd., McAlester, OK. Interment to follow at Blanco Cemetery, Blanco, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
