Paul Franklin Hackler, 83, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Bishop Chapel of Memories. Officiating will be Reverend Warren W. Harkins. Burial will follow at Blanco Cemetery in Blanco, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Talan King, Buddy Hackler, Colbey Webster, Gene Hackler, Dave Cuenod, and Greg Cuenod. Paul Hackler was born on May 16, 1941 to Paul Daniel Hackler and Lena Bell (Kimbell) Hackler in Blanco, Oklahoma. After graduating from high school, Paul furthered his education at a technical school, where he earned college credits that would serve him well in his future career. He embarked on a successful journey in the transportation industry working with Freight Sales Transportation and Trucking, where he dedicated over four decades of service as a salesman. His commitment to his work was unwavering, and he retired in 2006. Paul's life was enriched by his love for his wife, Paula Anderson, whom he married on June 16, 1989, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together, they shared a life full of joy, music, and love. Paul's passion for music was evident to all who heard him play guitar and sing karaoke. His voice and melodies brought joy to many gatherings and will be remembered fondly by friends and family. In addition to his musical talents, Paul was an avid solitaire player. He found great pleasure in the challenge and excitement of the digital world. Paul's legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and the joy of living life to the fullest. His spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, and his memory will live on in our hearts forever. Paul is survived by his wife: Paula Hackler of the home; daughter, Paula King and husband, Talan of Bixby; son, Buddy Hackler and wife, Brittanie of Glenpool; grandchildren: Colbey Webster and wife, Nikki of Broken Arrow, Amber Webster of Oklahoma City, Bailey Shadowens and husband, Blake of Kiefer; great-grandchildren: Brooks Webster, Whitley Webster, Remi Webster, Bryar Shadowens, Boone Shadowens, Bud Shadowens; sister, Bea Cuenod and husband, Dave of McAlester; brother, Gene Hackler and wife Paula of Poteau; nephews: Greg Cuenod and wife, Sherry of McAlester, Todd Hackler and wife, Jami of Poteau, Eric Hackler and wife, Rachel of Poteau, Glen Jr., Hackler and wife, Tammie of McAlester; a niece: Dawn Baker and husband, Brett of Fayetteville, Arkansas; numerous great-nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Paul is preceded in death by his father: Paul D. “Bud” Hackler; mother, Lena Bell Huggins; brother, Gary Lee Hackler, Glen Dean Hackler; an infant sister: Ruth Ann Hackler.
