Jackie "Jack" Lynn Collier, 80, of Kiowa, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Chaney Harkins Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Ash Creek Baptist Church with Reverend William Smith officiating. The burial will follow at the Ash Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Slade Smith, Russell Dempsey, Carl Jameson, Wade Cantrell, Bruce Bernard, and Newton Grammar. Jack was born on November 8, 1944 in Scipio, Oklahoma to Emmons Bannister Collier, Jr. and Lois Lorenne (Barlow) Collier. He married Jessie Jo Jameson on April 21, 1981. Jack graduated from McAlester High School with the Class of 1962. He worked as a manager at auto repair shops, and also as a supervisor at Knowledgeware in Atlanta for several years Jack was a Volkswagen fanatic. He collected several Volkswagen Beetles and received several blue ribbons from a variety of car shows. Jack and Jessie enjoyed music, dancing, and yard work together over their 43 years of marriage. Jack is survived by his wife, Jessie Jo Collier; children: Kristen Burnette, Russell J. Dempsey, Dena Morris, and Slade Smith; grandchildren: Bethany Kendall, Codi Kendall, Ricky Burnette, Dylan Dempsey, and Levi Dempsey; several great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lucy Collier; and niece: Casey Ann Collier. He is preceded in death by his father, Emmons Bannister Collier, Jr.; his mother, Lois Lorenne (Barlow) Collier; and brothers: Ernie, Leon and Casey Collier.
