Donald Leroy Teske, 85, died on July 8, 2018, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Family will greet friends from 3:00 to 4:00 on Sunday July 15, at Strode Funeral Home. His funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Strode funeral home chapel in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Donald was born July 20, 1932 to Joseph and Della Teske in Benton Harbor, MI. He married Shirley Ann Jaynes on June 26, 1954 in Victoria, Texas.
He graduated from Saint Joseph High school, served during the Korean War and later became a Custodial Supervisor. He was a member of the First Baptist church here in Stillwater Oklahoma.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents; one sister Eileen Garrison; one grandson Adam Barber and a brother Gerald Teske.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Teske; one son, Larry Teske of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and two daughters Deborah Determan of Stillwater Oklahoma and Patricia Donaldson of Carrollton, Texas; six grandchildren, Kimberly O’Brient, Kelly Faulkner, Cameron Donaldson, Brooke Dekker and Paige Donaldson, Michelle and Marc Teske; five great grandchildren; Robie Bryant, Madisyn Barber, Matthew Faulkner, Henry Dekker and Lilah Faulkner; brother, Ron Teske of Salem, Oregon and a sister Karen Goodwin of Glendora, California.
