Press Stillwater, Oklahoma August 2002 Johnny Maynard Seales November 22, 1932 ~ August 29, 2002 ohnny Manyard Seales, 69, Stillwater, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at Stillwater Medical Center. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Dr. William S. Inglish will preside. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Strode Funeral Home. He was born in Turkey, Texas, November 22, 1932, to Johnnie R. and Lillie Mae [Payne] Seales. He married Dorothy Crowson and they were later divorced. He married Lenora Swisher in Stillwater in August 1982. She preceded him in death on October 1, 1995. He married Laquita Kizziar on November 6, 1997. Seales grew up in West Texas and following high school, joined the Navy and served from 1951 to 1955. He then became a top salesman for every company he represented. In 1972, he moved to Stillwater and became a business partner with Don Roberts. Together they owned and operated several different successful businesses in the area. Seales never met a stranger and his favorite pastime was sharing life with his expansive circle of family and friends.He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Elks Lodge and a former member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; his second wife; two brothers; one granddaughter, Jordan Seales; and one step-daughter. He is survived by his wife Laquita; three sons, Randy Seales and his wife Argel of Stillwater, Johnny Seales Jr. and his wife Susan of Ponca City and Joel Seales of Stillwater; six step-sons, Sid Kizziar and his wife Terry of Ft. Worth, Texas, Kenneth Kizziar of Stillwater Terry Langley and wife Charlotte of Edmond; Rick Langley and his wife Debbie of Texas, Johnnie Devine and his wife Deana of Stillwater and Kelly Devine and his wife Renda of Stillwater; two step-daughters, Michelle Hill and her husband Rodney of Anchorage, Alaska and Shawna Reed and her husband Mark of Stillwater; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Lanette Hogg and her husband Kenneth of Lamesa, Texas; three half-sisters; and one half-brother. |
