© Strode Funeral Home Stillwater, Oklahoma January 2012 Floyd William Going August 30, 1916 ~ January 31, 2012 Floyd William Going, 95, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Family will greet friends at Strode Funeral Home on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater. Officiating will be Reverend Henry Siems of the First Church of the Nazarene and Curtis Going of Harkers Island, North Carolina. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Floyd was born in Yale, Oklahoma on August 30, 1916 to Arthur Raymond and Minnie Alice (Stocker) Going. He graduated from Quay High School in 1934, and married Norma Louise Crank on June 5, 1937 in Yale, Oklahoma. Floyd is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond, Norman and Lester; and sister, Clara Frick. He is survived by his wife, Norma; son, Terry, and wife, Ella Ruth, of Easley, South Carolina; son, Dale, and wife, Myla, of Bethany, Oklahoma; brother, Garland, and wife, Shirley, of Lincoln, Nebraska. Floyd also leaves behind five grandchildren: Mark, Philip, David, Brent and Stacia Scott, as well as 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will include Mark Going, Philip Going, David Going, Brent Going, Stacia Scott and Jeff Scott.
