March 2010 Kevin Lee Gifford September 27, 1960 ~ March 5, 2010 Kevin Lee Gifford, 49, died March 5, 2010 in Oklahoma City as a result of an automobile accident. Graveside services in Stillwater at a later date. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Kevin was born September 27, 1960 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Marianne Aingworth Gifford and Ernie Lee Gifford. He attended school in Texas, Stillwater, OK, and Norman, OK and graduated from high school in Norman in 1979. He was employed in various positions in Norman and Oklahoma City. His employment at the time of his death was at Indoor Entertainment at Crossroads Mall in Oklahoma City. Kevin was preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by one brother, Richard Garner, of Garden City, NY; an aunt Vivian Morgan, of Stillwater, OK and her husband George; Cousins John Morgan of Stillwater, Jim Morgan and his wife Eve of Stillwater, OK, Ruth Gelsey and Husband Jon of Mercer Island WA, and cousins' children. Kevin believed in taking care of the earth and all of its creatures. He cared for and rescued wildlife as well as providing a loving home for his cats. Those wishing to honor Kevin's life could do so best by contributing to the Humane Society or Local Animal Shelters and Rescue Groups.
