Family will greet friends at Strode Funeral Home on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Larry Eslinger officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on December 11, 1918 to Levi M. and Mary Myrtle [Topper] Hayes. She lived most of her life in the Payne County area. She married Jewell E. Busch on July 23, 1938 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her husband, mother, father and three brothers preceded her in death. She leaves behind four children, Dorothy and Kenneth Spillars of Perkins, Mary and Jack Daugherty of Cushing, Gene and Mary Jane Busch of Prague, Allen and Rose Busch of Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Rader of Texas; one sister-in-law, Gertrude Hayes; nieces and nephews; and numberous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Judith Karman Hospice, P.O. Box 818, Stillwater, OK 74076. |
