Press Stillwater, Oklahoma December 12, 2007 Loretta May [White] Allensworth Loretta May Allensworth, 75, of Stillwater, departed from her Earthly home Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, in Stillwater. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Southside Baptist Church with Chaplain Jeff Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born April 24, 1932, in Guthrie, to William Everett White and Belva Lucille [Lowe] White. She married Robert Leland Allensworth Sr. Oct. 19, 1949, in Bentonville, Ark. He preceded her in death July 27, 2002. She enjoyed fishing, picking pecans and drinking coffee. She loved red roses and growing them in her garden. She was an animal lover and especially loved her dog, Glorie. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by two sons, Robert Leland "Bob" Allensworth Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Perkins and Donald Everett Allensworth and his wife, Cindy, of Stillwater; four grandchildren, Jered Prickett and his wife, Candice, of Tryon, Ryan Don Allensworth and his wife, Martha, of Claremore, Robert Leland "Trey" Allensworth, III of Perkins and Tressa Mo'Anne Cochran and her husband, Curtis, of Perkins and six great grandchildren, Ruth May' Marie Cochran, Serenity Faith Cochran, Addison Kennedy Allensworth, Taylor Prickett, Tanner Prickett and Cody Henley. Active pallbearers will be Trey Allensworth, Ryan Allensworth, Jered Prickett, Curtis Cochran, Larry Kinnamon and Ed Long. |
