"Mary Kaye" Tubbs, age 60 of Cushing, went to her new home in Heaven, Saturday morning, January 31, 2009 at the home of her mother. Camille was born on March 10, 1948 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the daughter of Troy Williams and Juanita Porter and was an only child. She grew up in Cushing, attended Cushing Public Schools and graduated from Perkins High School in 1966. She later married Eddie B. Tubbs and to this union one son was born. She attended business school for one year in Oklahoma City. She returned to Cushing several years ago and made her home with her mother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church North. She loved to sew, cook and read her Bible. Camille leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Juanita Hayes of the home, one uncle, Winford Porter of Stillwater, Oklahoma and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, a son Patrick, grandmother, grandfather, two uncles and one aunt. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the First Baptist Church North with Pastor Richard B. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Silver Star Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Cushing, Oklahoma. |
