Randy Lackey passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his residence at the age of 55 years.
The son of Jack Lackey and Maudine Bowman Lackey, Randy was born on March 14, 1953 in Great Bend, Kansas.
Randy served his country in the United States Navy and following his honorable discharge had worked in the oil industry, having worked at Arrow Pump & Supply in Stroud and was currently working at Washita Flo Testing Company in Lindsey, OK.
He was united in marriage to Sandy Brown and she survives him of the home.
He enjoyed golfing, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Robert Lackey of CA; one step-son Dustin Hoyle of Wichita, KS; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jack Lackey of Cushing; three brothers, Bob Lackey and his wife Betty of Yale, Kenneth Lackey and his wife Nancy of Conway Springs, KS, and David Lackey and his wife Donna of Paoli, OK; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by one daughter Vickie Lackey and one brother Jack Lackey, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Ted Uhlig, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Full military honors will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery by the local Cushing V.F.W. Post 1118.
