Daisy Ann Buckmaster, born to Walter and Nellie Buckmaster on February 1, 1939 went to meet Jesus on December 24, 2014. Her funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29 at Strode Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Perkins Cemetery.
She never married or had children, however she had numerous nieces and nephews and their family’s that loved her so much. She passed away from this life at home surrounded by her family. Daisy loved her family, children, soap operas, cats and dogs. Jesus was a large part of her life.
Daisy only had two jobs in her life the first was helping her parents raise many children. She did all the work that any mother would do and second she was the ultimate babysitter. All of her nieces and nephews are too numerous to list so the list will include her brother, Otto Buckmaster and his son, Denis Ray Buckmaster and his family; Katherine Marie Ools and her family, Diane Navratil, Ethel Rudd, Linda Cook, Brenda Joyce Cooper and their families; Joyce Lavon Ools and her family, K.O. Ools, Brenda Grant, Shelia Waggoner, Calvin Ools, Twila Smith and Cathy Smith and their families; Willa Dean Fields and her family, Albert, Randy Fields, Dorothy Garrett, Clara Bruce and their family. She also had many extended families.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Brother, Otto and sister, Katherine and Joyce; nephews Calvin W. Ools, Jimmy Waggoner, Junior Ools, and Mark Navratil.
She was a wonderful gentle loving person that was loved by many and will be missed by all. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Ross Healthcare.
