© Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Perry, Oklahoma September 2018 Sherrie Lynn [Crenshaw] Brown July 24, 1963 ~ September 5, 2018 Sherrie Lynn Brown, 55, of Langston, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in her home. Arrangements are under the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 11 at 2:00pm at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joe Day officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coyle, Oklahoma. Honorary Pallbearers are Jacob Crenshaw, John Longan, Kevin Bostian, Scott Longan, Jay Arnold, and Aaron Anderson. Sherrie was born on July 24, 1963 to Gary and Evelyn [Longan] Crenshaw in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Sherrie grew up and graduated from Woodward High School in Woodward, Oklahoma. She enjoyed collecting rocks and gems, studying astrology, reading, and listening to music. You could always find her dabbling in all sorts of different hobbies. She enjoyed her work at Langston University but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Sherrie is survived by her children, Bri Curry and husband Charles, Morgan Brown; father, Gary Crenshaw; sibling, Jay Crenshaw and wife Leslie; and grandchild, Riley Curry. She is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Crenshaw; grandparents, Dorothy and Virgil Longan, Izetta Tilley Allison, and Claude Crenshaw. |
