© Stillwater News Press Stillwater, Oklahoma August 2002 April 1, 1928 ~ August 26, 2002 Former Cushing resident Johnnie Pack, 74, Bristow, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, in the St. John's Hospital in Tulsa. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Harrell Cemetery, east of Cushing on Ninth Street. Services will be under the direction of the Palmer Funeral Home of Cushing. He was born April 10, 1928, in Cushing, to Carl and Essie Wells Pack. He received his early education in Cushing. He was married to Darlene (Goldman) July 9, 1954, in Carson City, Nev. They lived in Modesto, Calif., prior to moving to Bristow in 1990. Pack was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Lonnie Pack and one brother, Jimmie Pack. Survivors include, his wife, Darlene of the home; two sons, Carl Pack of Bristow and Johnnie Rellon Pack Jr. of Gridley, Calif.; five daughters, Pat Phillips of Orville, Calif., Shirleen Latham of Biggs, Calif., Glenda Hatch of Hanford, Calif., Tawana Ward of Mannford and Charlotte Dehart of Modesto, Calif.; one brother, Charlie Pack of Live Oak, Calif.; one sister, Cecil Baker of Sacramento, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. |
