© Stillwater News Press Stillwater, Oklahoma February 6, 2008 Reprinted with Permission Edward Lee Tabor August 12, 1933 ~ February 4, 2008 Funeral services for Edward Lee Tabor, age 74, of Stillwater, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Glen Wood Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home. Mr. Tabor was born Aug. 12, 1933, to Charley E. and Lear [Solley] Tabor in Keota. He grew up and attended school in the Keota and Cottonwood School area. He later married Edna Sharpton Sept. 15, 1952, in Perkins, in the Eden Chapel. His hobbies included farming, attending cattle and farm auctions and working on his tractor. The highlights of his life were his family and friends. Mr. Tabor passed from this life Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, in Grace Living Center, Stillwater. He is survived by his wife, Edna, of the home; one son, Robert Lee Tabor of Everman, Texas; two daughters, Gwen Harris and husband, Jim, of Emporia, Kan. and Shirley Jonell Sneed and husband, David Jr., of Stillwater; grandchildren, Robert Lee Tabor Jr., Brandi Tabor, Alicia Tabor, Theresa Tabor, Melissa Williams, Chris Harris, Angie Harris and Trey Sneed and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Buddie Tabor. Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or the Life Center at 411 W.
