Friday Services Scheduled For Lela F. Mahoney, 62

Funeral services for Lela F. Mahoney, 62, of 1020 S Duck, who died April 15, 1969, in Stillwater Municipal Hospital, will be at 2 pm Friday in the Strode Chapel. The Rev Van Nickels will conduct services, with interment at Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Strode Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home until noon Friday.

Mrs Mahoney was born in Perkins on January 5, 1907, daughter of Lousader and Louella Thompson. She married William J. Mahoney in Payne County on April 15, 1926. They lived in Perkins until moving to Stillwater.

A member of the Southern Heights United Methodist Church, Mrs Mahoney was employed at R. J. Cleaners. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her huaband, of the home; one son, Bill D.Mahoney, Phoenix, Ariz, and three daughters, Mrs Patsy Jamison, Phoenix, Ariz, Mrs Dorothy Gallager, Houston, Tex, and Mrs Jeannine Peeples, Oklahoma City.

Also surviving are three brothers, Ancil Thompson, Odessa, Tex, Harold Thompson, Ponca City, and John R. Thompson, 1424 Eastern; and two sisters, Mrs Alene Tye, 1108 S Monroe; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include W. L. King, Ruben Jay, Gene Riley, Wayne Taylor, Ben Riley and Ancil Smith.
