© Strode Funeral Home Stillwater, Oklahoma February 22, 1970 Reprinted with permission Sarah Doris Mahoney Leach February 27, 1901 ~ February 20, 1970 Sarah Leach, 68, Dies: Services Due Here Monday Funeral Services are to be at 2 pm Monday in the Strode Chapel for Sarah Doris Leach, 68, resident of Wichita, Kan, who died in Wichita February 20, 1970. The Rev Van Nickels will officiate and burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery under direction of Strode Funeral Home. She was born in Ingalls, February 27, 1901, the daughter of Frank E. and Pearl Mahoney. She married John "Bonn" Leach in Stillwater, October 11, 1919 and the couple lived in Stillwater until moving to Pryor in 1940, and then to Wichita in 1941. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Ray R. Leach and B. Joe Leach, both of Wichita, and a daughter, Mrs Juanita Bates, also Wichita. Her Mother, Mrs Pearl Rising, 113 E 12th; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren' two brothers, Raymond E. Mahoney, 113 E 12th and Bill Mahoney, 1202 S Duck. Pallbearers will be Bill King, Spec Gart, Jack McKnight, Tom Williams, Orvil Burton and Joe Burton. |
