© Strode Funeral Home Stillwater, Oklahoma Reprinted with permission December 21, 2006 Danny Alton Kinkade October 12, 1939 ~ December 12, 2006 Danny Alton Kinkade, 67, died December 12, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. Services were held Saturday, December 16, 2006 in the Church of God in Ripley, Okla. at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mike Wheatly officiating. Interment followed at Glenwood Cemetery in Stillwater, Okla. Arrangements were under the direction of Strode Funeral Home. He was born October 12th, 1939 to Amos Alton Kinkade and Reeva (Plunkett) Kinkade. On November 25, 1960 he married Frances Courtright at the Church of God in Ripley, Okla. Danny worked as a union carpenter at Oklahoma State University, Oral Roberts University, and many other places. He was also a farmer. He worked at Page Glencliff in the warehouse for two and a half years. He also did remodeling jobs and built storm shelters with his cousin. In October of 1972 he went to work for National Standard where he worked in many positions for the next thirty years. He retired in May of 2004. After retirement he traveled with his fifth wheel and Dodge truck. No one liked a good joke or to tease someone like Danny. He also liked to play dominoes. He is predeceased by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Frances Kinkade, of Ripley, Okla., twin daughters Linda Hoipkemier and Glenda Campbell, daughter Rhonda Watts, and husband Edward, one son, Daniel Alton Kinkade and wife Christa, grandchildren Dorothy Jones and husband, Brett, William Campbell and wife Codie, Michael Campbell, Amber and Ryan Watts, Julie, Sandy and Betty Hoipkemier, Ashley, Brianna, and Dustin Alton Kinkade, great-grandson James Lee Campbell, two brothers, Bob (Hughie) Kinkade and wife Jeanie of Agra, Okla., Edward Kinkade and wife Penny of Chandler, Okla., one sister, Judith Kirk of Casper, Wyo., and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a ton of friends. © Strode Funeral Home Stillwater, Oklahoma Reprinted with permission November 2015 Frances Lodene [Courtright] Kinkade February 11, 1943 ~ November 23, 2017 Frances Lodene Kinkade, 74, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK, after a short illness. Funeral services will be held 2:00 Monday at the Church of God in Ripley, OK. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Frances was born to Joseph Calvin Courtright and Dorthea Opal [Burton] Courtright, on February 11, 1943. She married her High School sweetheart Danny Alton Kinkade at the Church of God in Ripley on November 25, 1960. Eleven months later twin daughters, Linda and Glenda, joined them. On March 16, 1964 Rhonda Jo and the forever talked about Black Angus Bull were both born. They finally got that boy, Daniel, they wanted in 1971. They both said numerous times they should have stopped with that black Jersey Bull! After raising the kids Frances worked at Robb Container in Cushing, OK and National Standard before retiring from the United States Post Office. Frances was on numerous bowling leagues over the last 54 years – sometimes bowling up to 4 days a week. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and traveling with Danny. Her favorite passion was shopping. Frances is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her twin daughters, Linda Hoipkemier and Glenda Campbell; daughter, Rhonda [Edward] of Ripley; one son, Daniel [Christa] of Chandler; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; three brothers, Randall Jean Courtright [Mary], Troy Courtright [Barbara], and Don Courtright; numerous nieces and nephews.
