© Strode Funeral Home Stillwater, Oklahoma December 25, 2008 Grace Louise [Murlin] Dodson December 13, 1945 ~ December 16, 2008 Grace Louise Dodson, 63, of Stillwater, OK died on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in Stillwater. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2008 at Eden Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Bredesen officiating. Interment was in Glenwood Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She was born on December 13, 1945 in Stillwater, OK to Alva Murlin and Donna [Nash] Murlin. She married John M. Dodson on November 19, 1983 in Perkins, OK. She attended school in Perkins and graduated from Perkins High School in 1963. She also attended Oklahoma State University. She worked at OSU as an accounting supervisor and retired from there in 2008. She was a homemaker and an active member of Eden Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Pioneer Quilting Club and the Burton Quilting Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Charles "Chuck" Murlin. She is survived by her husband John M. Dodson of Stillwater, OK; one son, Mickey Sutliff and his wife Maggie of Knoxville, TN; two daughters, LaDonna Johnson and her husband Michael of Elkhart, IN and Ramonda Dugas and her husband Richard of Springfield, MO; two stepdaughters, Mary Ann Dodson of Newcastle, CO and Vicki Dodson of Bartlesville, OK; eleven grandchildren, Daniel Dugas, Rachel Dugas, Annissa Dugas, Abigail Dugas, Joshua Dugas, Mercy Sutliff, Emma Sutliff, Todd Bostwick, Morgan Bostwick, Dylan Skaggs and Cade Renault; one brother, Lee Ray Murlin of Stillwater, OK; two sisters, Arlene Matney of Stillwater, OK and Joan Perceful of Tryon, OK; and many other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers were Daniel Dugas, Todd Bostwick, Delbert Price, Curtis Price, Chris Murlin and Joel Daugherty.
