Jerry Dean Rose
December 26, 1935 ~ December 2, 2019


Jerry Dean Rose, 83, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at his home in Stillwater.

Graveside service will be held at Glencoe South Cemetery in Glencoe, Oklahoma.

Dighton Marler Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Jerry was born on December 26, 1935 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Ethel Rose.

He spent his younger years in Okemah and later in life married Virginia Treat on July 18, 1987 in Perkins, Oklahoma.

He worked as a road inspector for Oklahoma Department of Transportation for 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his two sons, Jerry Rose Jr. and Don Budzene, his parents, four brothers, one sister and one granddaughter Heather Hampton.

Jerry is survived by his wife Virginia Rose, his children Deana Whitlock and husband Darrel Stevens of Bristow, Ok., John Hampton and wife Debbie of Glencoe, Ok., Cathy Hampton and husband Chad Beesley of Stillwater, Ok. and Curtis Hampton and wife Rebecca Hampton of Stillwater, Ok.
