© Davis Funeral Home Cushing, Oklahoma November 21. 2008 Dale Berwyn Baker February 27, 1932 ~ November 21, 2008 Dale Berwyn Baker, Glencoe resident, passed away from natural causes on Friday, November 21, 2008 in Stillwater. The son of the late Robert Victor Baker and Ella Margaret Watts Baker, Dale was born on February 27, 1932 in Cushing, where he was also reared and educated graduating from Cushing High School in 1950. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a published poet; enjoyed reading, motorcycling, boating and horseback riding. He had worked for Shell pipeline, Mercury Marine and McDonald Douglas. Survivors include his significant mate, Marylyn Sears of Glencoe; one sister, Loweta Baker Reavis of Cushing; a niece, Renee Sparks of Cushing; a nephew, Nicholas N. Reavis of Little Rock, AR and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Quay Baker and one sister, Bessie Loraine Baker Young. Private family services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the Glencoe South Cemetery in Glencoe. |
