Lawrence Raymond Scott, a former Cushing resident, now of Wichita Falls, TX passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at the age of 81 years.
The son of the late Lawrence Edgar Scott and Pearl Massey Scott, Lawrence was born on August 22, 1926 in Waurika, Oklahoma.
He was united in marriage to Lucille Kathryn Davis on January 29, 1953 in Van Buren, Arkansas and to this union, three children, Mike, Pat and Janet, were born.
Lawrence was retired from the oilfield.
He enjoyed farming, watching movies, listening to music and dancing.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Scott of Casper, Wyoming and Pat Scott and his wife Ann of New Iberia, Louisiana; one daughter Janet Lucus of Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandchildren, Christopher Scott, Kyle Lucus, Katherine Lucus and James Scott and other relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Davis Memorial Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
