Ralph Edward "Eddie" Matlock
July 9, 1963 ~ May 9, 2011


Eddie Matlock, carpenter and son of Ralph and Pearl Matlock, was killed in an auto accident on Monday, May 9, 2011. He was 47 years old.

Eddie was born on July 9, 1963 in Cushing and was raised and educated in the Yale and Cushing area, graduating from Yale High School.

He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling with his children and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Pearl Matlock of Yale; his children, Roshae Flavell and her husband Bobby of Cushing, Nichole Matlock Moon of Altus, OK, Tyler Matlock and Trey Matlock both of Yale; one sister Elizabeth Moon and her husband Arlis, Jr. of Altus, OK, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother Donald Matlock.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Kyle Wright officiating.
