Wayne Eugene Fahrbach Sr
May 6, 1921 ~ December 23, 2017


December 23, 2017 marks the passing of an American Hero. WWII, US Army Sgt. Eugene "Wayne" Fahrbach is more than a soldier.

On May 6, 1921, he was born the son of Carl and Mary, a brother to 9, a daddy to 10, a grandpa to 17, a great-grandpa to 17 and a great-great-grandpa to 1, and the husband and soulmate to the luckiest of all, Evelyn O’Dell-Fahrbach, who was by his side, holding his hand as he fell asleep, instantly greeted by his savior Jesus Christ.

Services Wednesday, December 27 at 2pm Park Place Baptist Church, 321 N Hartman Ave, Cushing, OK

Evelyn Imogene [O'Dell] Land Green Fahrbach
July 4, 1923 ~ November 27, 2019


Evelyn Imogene O'Dell Fahrbach passed away Wednesday November 27, 2019 in Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma with her family at her side. She was 96 years of age.

The daughter of the late Albert Simon O'Dell and Nancy Jane Horsley O'Dell, Evelyn was born on July 4, 1923 in Colgate, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1943. Following high school she received a degree in cooking and nutrition, working in the food industry for several years with the Cooper restaurant in Oklahoma City and for over 17 years with American Airlines.

She was united in marriage to Tolbert Green and to this union four children, Richard, Larry, Linda and Tolbert, Jr., were born. She later married Wayne Fahrbach and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2017.

She was a member of the Park Place Baptist Church; she enjoyed cooking, traveling and going on vacations. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Richard Green and his wife Janice of Moore, OK., and Linda VanSchuyver of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Lucille Ward of Meeker and Shirley Moad of Guthrie; a sister-in-law Doretta O'Dell of Cushing; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and two spouses, she was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Tolbert; one son-in-law Danny and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services: Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in the Park Place Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Spargimino officiating. Burial is in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
