Doris Faye [Clark] Dye
March 15, 1931 ~ January 28, 2008


Doris F. Dye, longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2008 at the age of 76 years. The daughter of the late Orville Clark and Faye Bartlett Clark, Doris was born on March 15, 1931 in Cushing.

Doris was united in marriage to Dale Dye on January 15, 1950 and to this union one son, Donald, was born. Dale preceded her in death on February 28, 2003. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene for over fifty years.

Survivors include her son Donald Ray Dye and his wife Marie of Panama City, FL; five grandchildren, Lindsey Wallis, Erin Dye, Allison Dye, Alicia Sheffield and Christina Shoots; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Wofford; one brother, Jim Clark; two nieces, Gina Delaney and Nikki Barber and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Wood and Annie Bergen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 2, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Harold Johnson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
