© El Reno Tribune El Reno, Oklahoma Printed With Permission Sunday, February 14, 2010 July 27, 1925 ~ February 10, 2010 Funeral services for Nevella Mae Cobb of El Reno, formerly of Cushing, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Rod Young officiating. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Mrs. Cobb died Wednesday at Grace Living Center in El Reno. She was born July 27, 1925, in Davidson. She was a graduate of Victory High School in Tillman County, and joined the World War II Cadet Nursing Program in 1944. She received her registered nurse certificate from St. Joseph's Nursing School in Ponca City in 1947. Nevella worked as a nurse in Lawton and Cushing for over 40 years. She lived in Cushing until 2005 before moving to El Reno. She was a member of the Park Place Baptist Church in Cushing and attended Trinity Baptist Church in El Reno. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Wolff of El Reno; a brother, Bill Greeson of Elk City; sisters, Una Nelson of Elk City and Estella Hefner of Henryetta; and two granddaughters. |
