Doris Jeanette Campbell, 78, died on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Stillwater, OK. Visitation will be held from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Strode Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Kyle Wonn officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, OK.
Doris was born on March 8, 1939 to Clarence Blair and Lela Louise (Staggs ) Jordan in Huntsville, AL.
She married Grady Estille Campbell on June 9, 1957. He later died on November 11, 1989.
She graduated from S.R. Butler High School in 1957, Huntsville, AL. She and her husband moved to Stillwater in 1980 where he pastored the Bible Missionary Church. She was a Homemaker and Retired from Oklahoma State University in 2003, she was the Secretary for the Electrical Engineer Department. She was a member of the Bible Missionary Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and brother.
She Is survived by her sons Michael (Cindy) Campbell-Gallatin, TN, Mark (Melissa) Campbell-Woodward, OK, Michele (Jason) Davis- West Blocton, AL, Marshall (Michelle) Campbell-Derby, KS; grandchildren Heather (Barry) Harris, Nathan (Kelly) Campbell, James Campbell, Caleb (Mary) Davis, Carley Campbell, Lexi Campbell, Berkley Campbell; 2 great- grandchildren; brother Paul Jordan; sister Patricia Acker, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mark Campbell, Marshall Campbell, Nathan Campbell, James Campbell, Caleb Davis and Jason Davis.
