© Strode Funeral Home Stillwater, Oklahoma January 2015 December 23, 1928 ~ January 7, 2015 Billy Gene Penny, 86, passed away in Drumright, Oklahoma on January 7, 2015. The family will greet visitors from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 9 at Strode Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10 at Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Cushing with Pastor Larry Lehr officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Billy was born at the family farm near Yale, Oklahoma on December 23, 1928 to Oscar Lee and Gladys [Porter] Penny. He attended grade school in Council Bluff, Oklahoma and graduated from Ripley High School, Ripley, Oklahoma. He never married. Billy spent his life farming. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Gladys Penny; brother, Francis Penny; and grandparents, Mike and Edna Penny.
