Bill Mac McAulay
September 27, 1927 ~ August 14, 2008


Bill Mac McAulay, former Drumright resident, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2008 in Okmulgee at the age of 80 years.

The son of the late Walter T. McAulay and Mary K. Tharel McAulay, Bill was born on September 27, 1927 in Drumright and was reared and educated in the Drumright and Seminole areas.

Bill was united in marriage to May Harrison on December 31, 1987 in Okemah.

Bill was a retired lineman for South Western Bell.

He enjoyed woodworking and was an all around handyman.

Survivors include his wife, May, of the home; one son, Jay McAulay of Sapulpa; one granddaughter, Kim McAulay; one brother, Walter McAulay of Sand Springs and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one brother, John McAulay and one sister, Kay McAulay.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 18, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery.
