January 5, 1913 ~ February 7, 2008


Helen DeGraw went quietly to be with her Lord on February 7, 2008.

She was born on January 5, 1913 in Sioux City, Iowa and was reared and educated in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School.

She was united in marriage to Leslie “Butch” DeGraw on December 25, 1935 in Cushing. To this union four children, Donald, Dorothy, Judy and Karen, were born.

The couple had lived in Cushing until 1969, when they moved to Bentonville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on December 13, 1992.

Helen was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Donald DeGraw and his wife Fran of Winter Park, FL; three daughters, Dorothy Huffman and her husband Ron of Muskogee, Judy Pucheu of Long Beach, Mississippi and Karen Onstott and her husband Kurt of Cushing; eleven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery with Bob Vaught officiating.
